
Supervisor Series 201 – Supervisor Coaching
This live-virtual online course is a continuation of the Supervisor Series.
This course is designed to support the integration of skills and knowledge learned from the Supervisor Series and to improve how the participants work with their teams. During the Coaching Program, the participants will further develop the following:
Identifying the right development skill that the participant needs to work on to improve their leadership role in the organizations.
- Create a development plan and timeline.
- Seek feedback about where they are in the learning curve and define measurable outcomes and realistic timescale.
- Develop “In-Place” assignments requiring application of individual competencies in order to improve their efficiency.
Phase 1 – Pre-Coaching Meeting w/ Participant and Their Immediate Supervisor / Mentor
Date: January 25, 2023 – 10:00-11:00 am
One-hour meeting with participants and their supervisors to serve as an introduction.
The purpose of this meeting is to establish rapport and understand the program objectives that will be pursued during the coaching process.
Phase 2 – Group Coaching (6 sessions, 90-min each)

Every coaching session will require preparation and investment of time on the part of the supervisor. The coaching approach is structured and allows to maintain consistency between the actions discussed and the initial objectives. Through powerful questions and important requests, the coach will lead the supervisors to broaden thinking, process awareness, decisions and actions from the supervisory training that will allow them to achieve individual goals and organizational expectations.
The six 90-minute Group Sessions will focus on:
Encourage peer consultation and collaboration
Integrate professional skills development and performance
Encourage process improvement
Build and accelerate the organizations’ learning capacity
Share experiences across levels of employees
Optimize goal accomplishment at individual, group, and organizational levels
Impact the bottom-line
Phase 3 – Individual One-On-One w/ Participating Supervisor
Date: As Needed and Scheduled Between Trainer and Participant
This 1-hour One-On-One Coaching Session will be held private between the trainer and the participant and will purpose to:
Identify the strengths and challenges encountered by the Supervisor / Participant.
Identify and emphasize management skills and priorities to work on.
Phase 4 – Coaching Project Closing Session
Date: April 19, 2023
The final phase of this program is a review in a group setting with all the participants and their immediate supervisors to establish that the goals of the program have been met, discuss continuing challenges, and next steps.
